The Sustainable Eel Group (SEG) is organising a panel discussion hosted by Ulrike Rodust MEP & Ricardo Serrão Santos MEP to promote a wider understanding of the issues concerning the conservation and sustainable use of eels. The focus will be on illegal trade, the impacts of such trafficking on the status of the European eel stock and how it undermines ongoing efforts for the recovery of those stocks.
