A Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) is an professional organisation, qualified and accredited to, on a third party basis, undertake audits and issue certificates for a standard system.
They are independent of the owner of the standard system.
They are appointed following a rigorous assessment and accreditation process and are subject to oversight via the terms of a business agreement.
The Sustainable Eel Group is the owner of the SEG Standard. The following CABs have an agreement with SEG to administer audits and certification of clients to the SEG Standard:
